Wireless Retro Controllers
8bitdo Wireless Snes Controllers
Anyone that played video games in the late 80's and 90's knows the horror of having a brother (or mother, dog, dad, etc) trip over the cord of your Super Nintendo causing it to crash to the floor. Nowadays we are so accustom to wireless controllers it almost feels unnatural to be tethered to the console by a console. 8BitDo seems to have solved that problem with the release of their wireless line of retro controllers.
Anyone that has purchased a third party controller in their life knows how they typically turn out. They end up being the controller that you give to your little brother or that "other" friend that no one liked. Then after a short period of time they end up broken and in need of replacement. Not here! These controllers feel great, the SN30 (Link Here) and SF30 (Link Here) models feel identical to the original SNES and SFC controllers released with the Super Nintendo and Super Famicom.
These controllers feel great, the SN30 (Link Here) and SF30 (Link Here) models feel identical to the original SNES and SFC controllers released with the Super Nintendo and Super Famicom. The face buttons are responsive, even though the D Pad is a little tight it breaks in pretty quickly.
With the SNES adapter (Link Here) you just plug it in to your SNES and sync it to the controller. You can aslo use the included usb cable to hook the dongle u to your computer so that you can use them with any emulators / PC games. My only complaint is that syncing the controller to the dongle can be inconsistent, i had to try numerous times on a few occasions to get them synced.
With all that being said, I would 100% recommend any either of these controllers for someone looking for the old school feel without the hassle of wires. These controllers are versatile, durable, comfortable and most importantly familiar.
